Teaching materials EAA: Education about Asia is an AAS (Association for Asian Studies) publication focused on teaching Asian topics in the US. Articles can be found using its online search tool. Relevant teaching materials from Teaching American History, including key Documents and speeches during the Cold War by US politicians. However, be aware that all Cold War related events are presented through the lens of American, rather than global, history. Primary sources (U.S.) The Wilson Center collects extensive government resources (primarily declassified documents) and conducts research on historical and contemporary events relating to the Cold War.
CIA sources: The US presidential libraries are a fantastic resource, because this module involves almost all post-war US presidents before the 1980s (from Truman to Carter). National Archives of the United States. |
